Soundwalk Sandviken takes you on a 42 minute walk through parts of the city's cultural district. Stories and memories of the iron mill's history and industrial environment, interspersed with exciting sound worlds and contemporary music performed by, among others the Sandviken Symphony Orchestra. Soundwalk Sandviken is a new permanent sound artwork in the Cultural Centre of Sandviken. It is composed entirely of recordings done with a Neumann dummy head and made to be listened to through headphones.

Commissioned by Sandviken Art Gallery with financial support from the Swedish Arts Council and Sandvikens Kommun.

43 minute walk through much of Wanås sculpture park. During the walk you pass works of Gunilla Badolin, Jacob Dahlgren,  Antony Gormely, Per Kirkeby, Marianne Lindberg de Geer,  Thom Merrick, Richard Nonas,  Sarah Schwartz, Hanne Tierney,  Stefan Wewerka, Robert Wilson and others.
